Long time no post

So far 2008 has been shaping up into a very interesting year. We got the chance to see Kellie and Micah while they were in California for a visit! Micah and Judah had a great time together. I think the highlight of their playtime together was jumping on the dog bed together...pretty gross, but hey, they were happy!




Then we had a good time when our friends, Sky and Betsy, came over to visit with their little girl, Lily! Here's a pic of daddy reading a story to both Lily and Judah! Isn't she gorgeous! I totally want her hair!



Then, we had a wedding in the family! My niece (on my side of the fam) got married a couple of weeks ago! They are due to have their little bundle of joy - Lanie Faith McDonald - in a couple of weeks! Pretty exciting! I'll be a great-aunt! Here are pics of my two nieces - Jenna and Sara - and one of the happy couple - Jenna and Eric!




In other news, Jared and I are traveling to our friends' home in Charlotte, NC - JD and Deanna - to visit. Jared is going to help him out with some landscaping of their new home! We'll post more pics of our trip back to the South when we get home. We were hoping to make a trek back to my homeland (Toccoa, GA), but the rental car companies had other plans for us...it would cost as much for another plane ticket to get a rental car for two days to drive three hours home. Really Stinks. We'll have to go next time...

We also just bit the bullet and bought tickets to visit Molokai, HI! This July will be our 10th anniversary of when we met and fell in love in Molokai!! Jared has his spring break this April so we'll be heading out then! We're going to show Judah where it all began! ;) We are sooo excited and even more excited that Prez Bush is paying for our trip with his economic stimulus plan! He may stink at international diplomacy, but thank goodness he's putting some money in our pocket! We'll post lots of pics of the Island when we get back!
