Christmas is Here!

This is Judah's first Christmas where he can actually sort of understand what's going on and enjoy the festivities...and this is very exciting...even more exciting for mommy and daddy than for Judah! :) For me, decorating the tree is even more important and special than the actual opening of presents on Christmas Day. Christmas Day is so anti-climactic, but when you're decorating the tree with family, listening to cheesy Christmas music and reminiscing over those special ornaments, there is nothing better! The anticipation of the season is very real and you're that little kid again! So, mom and dad came over and we decorated the tree and mostly watched Judah taking it all in. It was a pretty sweet time.

Judah and daddy are putting up the nativity as daddy tells The Story.

Good times were had by all...the only thing missing was my sister and her girls.

Aww, look at your collection of little golden books! Aren't those the best?! The christmas tree is a huge deal to me too. Ours is decorated from ornaments that the kids and I make every year. We just add new things on every year. Of course, there are quite a few of my old ornaments on there since I am such a sentimental sap. That was wonderful to have your parents there with you. It must be great having them living near you.
